Scope of Activities
Through its expert network Orange House Partnership offers its services, including management and training, in a broad range of scientific disciplines and areas of interest. In addition, it offers advice on international legislation related to human and environmental safety in the context of food, feed and chemical exposure and health and welfare of food producing and experimental animals. Emphasis is on FAO, OIE, UN.ECOSOC (GHS) and WHO standards, OECD harmonised testing and assessment procedures and EU regulations and directives. Close links with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Global Alliance on Improved Nutrition (GAIN) ensure that Orange House Partnership remains at the forefront of scientific developments in the areas of food and feed safety and micronitrient fortification of food. In the table below a summary is provided of focus areas and scientific discip lines available now or in the near future.
